Robert Wilson's Memorial

Robert Edward Wilson was born March 25, 1933, and passed away April 24, 2026 at the age of 93 at his home in West Jordan, Utah.

Open House in Eugene

An open house was held at the Eugene 3rd Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Eugene, Oregon at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Bob & Jean Wilson lived in Eugene for 45 years.

Memorial Service Videos

  1. Opening. First we see Bishop Lee Glines welcome everyone, and have an opening hymn, Though Deepening Trials, led by granddaughter Mikayla Kartchner, followed by an opening prayer by son-in-law Jeff Gates.
  1. Jean Wilson's Remarks. Jean Wilson shared some thoughts about grief and her husband.
  1. Life Sketch. Robert's son Randy shared a life sketch as a slide show, taking over 100 pictures from the over 100,000 pictures that Robert took with film cameras.
  1. Song: It Is Well With My Soul. Robert's wife, children and grandchildren sing "It Is Well With My Soul," arranged by Mack Wilberg.
  1. Kids' Memories. The other five kids—Leslie, Bob B., Sharon, John and Joe—each share a few memories about their dad.
  1. Closing. Bishop Glines closes with a few more remarks, followed by a closing hymn, Now the Day is Over, and a benediction by son-in-law Roger Karchner.

Luncheon. Members of Bob & Jean's ward provided a lovely luncheon, giving family members and a few friends a great opportunity to gather and visit before people started going their separate ways.
